Discussion with possible action to approve the Texas County & District Retirement System (TCDRS) Plan Agreement for Plan Year 2024 with a retirement plan required rate of 13.12% effective January 1, 2024, and any other matters incident thereto.

Issue: The current employer retirement plan required rate for Webb County is 13.00%, The TCDRS employer required rate for 2024 is 13.12%. The employee deposit rate remains at 6.00%. This revision must be made before December 15, 2023.

Solution: Approval of the recommended revision at this time will help Webb County keep retirement up to par with the 2023 - 2024 budget.

Result: Approval of this revision will be within the TCDRS timeline and will be in line with TCDRS 's employer required contribution rate.
