Discussion and possible action to award Request for Proposal (RFP) 2023-014 "Webb County Fairgrounds - Restaurant & Concession Operator Lease" to sole proposer Suarez Restaurant in accordance with the Texas Local Government Code; §262.030 (Alternative Proposal Procedures for Certain Goods and Services) and to further authorize the Civil legal department to negotiate the terms & conditions of the service agreement and any other matters incident thereto. [Account #2031-1010-001-432001 (Webb County Fairgrounds - Professional Services)]

Issue: One (1) sealed proposal was submitted in response to this public solicitation for restaurant and concession operations at the Webb County Fairgrounds facility.

Solution: Consideration to approve award to sole respondent. Suarez Restaurant has serviced the Laredo community for over 30 years in the food industry and has provided related services in the past to LIFE fair and other local government entities.

Result: If approved, Civil / Legal Department will negotiate the terms, conditions and related fees for approval and execution of service agreement by Commissioners Court.
