Discussion and possible action to authorize the Purchasing Agent to advertise a Request for Proposal for a Hybrid Audio/Video System for the Webb County Child Support Courtroom in accordance with the Texas Local Government Code; Section 262.030 (Alternative Competitive Proposal Procedure for Certain Goods and Services) and any other matters incident thereto.

Issue: Requested services will exceed $50,000.00, a formal solicitation is required.

Solution: Authorize the Purchasing Agent to advertise a formal request for proposal.

Result: If approved the solicitation process will be initiated after scope of services is completed. IT is assisting with the scope of services language and specification requirements.
