Discussion and possible action to continue paying grant-funded personnel under the Office of the Attorney General, Grant #C00071 Fund 2714 Victim Coordinator & Liaison (VCLG), for (90) days, until notification about grant continuance award from the Criminal Justice Division by the Office of the Attorney General. All personnel costs will be reimbursed with grant funds.

Issue: Current grant funding expires on August 31, 2023. Victim Coordinator & Liason (VCLG) program, has not received notice of award for the new grant. Unless this item is approved, personnel working under this grant will not be paid after August 31, 2023.

Solution: Grant a 90-day payroll extension effective September 1, 2023

Result: The Webb County District Attorney’s Office will continue to employ the grant-funded personnel, and will continue to execute its duties towards victim.
