Internet Crimes Against Children Grant Acceptance

Discussion and possible action to authorize the acceptance of an Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) grant award (OAG Grant No. 1557131) from the Office of the Texas Attorney General (OAG) in the amount of $6,218 for needed supplies for the Webb County Sheriff's Office cyber crimes unit and authorizing the County Judge to execute all relevant documents; and any other matters incident thereto. This grant does not require any match.

Background:

This is a sub-award made by the Texas Office of the Attorney General Southern Internet Crime Against Children (ICAC) Task Force from its original grant awarded by the Department of Justice Office of Justice Programs Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention.

Previous Court Action:

This grant has been accepted by the Webb County Commissioners' Court in previous years.
