Discussion and possible action to approve the purchase of a Hydrogen Gas Generator from Fisher Scientific in the amount of $7,133.15 under the COPS Grant/DPS Crime Lab equipment; Grant No. 2010-CKWX0572. [Requested by Martin Cuellar, Webb County Sheriff; Grant Account #299-2001-8801]

Background:

DOJ / COPS grant program has approved the use of savings from original Grant amount awarded for $250,000 to purchase additional equipment for the local DPS Crime Lab. All quotes were obtained by DPS and forwarded to our Purchasing Agent for approval.

Sheriff's Office recommends approval of this grant approved purchase. NO IMPACT TO G/F.
