Discussion and possible action to approve a contract between Webb County, on behalf of Webb County Community Action Agency and Capluck, Inc. (CAP60) for purchase and implementation of client-tracking software for social services and case management services at the Webb County Community Action Agency. The contract price is Five Thousand Three Hundred Dollars ($5,300) and includes the purchase of the software, installation, licensing of the software and on-line training. Funding shall be provided from the Texas Department of Housing & Community Affairs (TDHCA) 2014 Community Social Services Block Grant (CSBG) Program and authorize the County Judge to sign all relevant documents. Background:

The Webb County Community Action Agency currently tracks its CSBG clients using spreadsheets and hand written processes that take significant time from case workers. The current process limits the number of client intakes per case worker and affects
productivity. Client tracking software will upgrade the process and provide a more accurate and timely procedure. This action will not have impact on the General Fund.

Previous Court Action:

Discussion and possible action to accept the recommendation of the Webb County Community Action Agency (CAA) Advisory Board Program Evaluation Committee to approve the following Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs-Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) Program client tracking system software Service Provider bids and authorize the County Judge to sign all relevant documents pertaining to this contract. This action will not impact the General Fund.
