Discussion and possible action to approve an engineering contract (Request for Qualifications #2014-008) between Webb County and Porras Nance Engineering for the Webb County Hwy 59 Colonias - Hydrologic & Hydraulic Analyses and Master Drainage Plan and to provide professional engineering and surveying services to prepare a detailed Hydrologic and Hydraulic (H&H) study on the sections of the Becerra Creek that traverse the local Colonias in the amount of $332,160. [Requested by Rhonda Tiffin, Webb County Planning Director; Account #748-0102-8706]

Background:

The original request for RFQs were approved by court action on September 9, 2013, item #54 (see attached). Porras Nance Engineering was selected by Court action as recommended by Webb County Engineer and Webb County Planning Director/Floodplain Administrator on the Commissioners Court meeting of Oct 14, 2014 item #53
