Discussion and possible action to accept grant contract #581500002130 award for the Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program (CEAP) from the Texas Department of Housing & Community Affairs (TDHCA) for Program Year 2015. Contract Start Date January 1, 2015 to Contract end date December 31, 2015, in the amount of ONE MILLION ONE HUNDRED TWENTY-SIX THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED SIXTY-TWO DOLLARS ($1,126,862.00) and authorizing the County Judge to sign all relevant documents.

Background:

The Webb County Community Action Agency (CAA) - Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program (CEAP) provides direct client services to eligible elderly, disabled and low income residents of Webb County. The services are intended to assist eligible Webb County residents with up to 8 highest remaining calendar months of energy consumption. The CEAP allocation for contract #58150002130 is for twelve months.
