Discussion and possible action to purchase Fifty (50) Dell computers and licenses for the District Attorney Office, pursuant to Sections 271.101 and 271.102, Subchapter F, Cooperative Purchasing Program, Texas Local Government Code (TX DIR-SDD-2503 and DIR-SDD 1951) in the amount of $89,449.30. [Requested by Isidro "Chilo" Alaniz, District Attorney; Account #176-1100-8801 (Forfeiture funds)]

Issue: The District Attorney’s Office computer equipment is out of date, inefficient and out of warranty. This is negatively impacting the operations of the office.

Solution: Replace the aging computer equipment with new computer hardware and software.

Result: The District Attorney’s Office operations will no longer be negatively impacted by aging computer equipment.
