Discussion and possible action to approve the 2015 - 2016 Head Start / Early Head Start / Child Care Partnership Local Self Assessment results and the Program Improvement Plan.

Background:

Issue: As per Head Start Performance Standard 1304.51(a)(2)(i), Head Start and Early Head Start programs must conduct a Self-assessment of their effectiveness and progress in meeting program goals and objectives and in implementing Federal regulations. Solution: Participate in, review, and approve the 2015 - 2016 Program Improvement Plan. Result: The Webb County Head Start, Early Head Start, and Child Care Partnership program will be in 100% compliance with all local, State, and Federal regulations at all times.

Previous Court Action:

The previous "Program Improvement Plan" was approved on May 26, 2015.
