Discussion and possible action to acquire external legal counsel for the Treasurer of Webb County to be represented at a Civil Service Commission meeting scheduled for January 14, 2016 regarding a termination of an employee at the Treasurer's department. [Executive Session is requested pursuant to Texas Government Code, Title 5, Subchapter D, Section 551.071 (A) (B) (Consultation With Attorney)]

Issue: County Attorney has advised that they will not be representing me.

Solution: Having external legal counsel will help me to attain good representation as needed in the Civil Service Commission decision.

Result: I can have a complete payroll staff after the Civil Service Commission decision.
