Discussion and possible action to approve a Resolution and authorize the Honorable Tano E. Tijerina, Webb County Judge and Honorable John Galo Commissioner, Pct. #3 as authorized signators to the Texas Community Block Grant Program #7215510 grant and authorizing the County Judge to sign all relevant documentation.

Issue: Two signatures required on all drawdown requests for reimbursements.

Solution: This will allow by resolution the individuals listed above as authorized signatories for the Request for Payment Form A203 where two (2) signatures are required for reimbursement of funds.

Result: This will allow Webb County to receive reimbursement for funds spent under this water improvement grant from TDA.

Background:

Texas Community Development Block Grant received from the Texas Department of Agriculture in the amount of $304,922 for a water improvement project to rehabilitate the water plant off U.S. HWY 59 Colonia group.

Previous Court Action:

Commissioners Court accepted Texas Community Development Contract #7215510 in the amount of $304,922. Approved November 9, 2015; item #48.
