Discussion and possible action to authorize the development and submission of a Texas Community Development Block Grant application to the Texas Department of Agriculture for the Community Development (CD) Program in an amount not to exceed Two Hundred and Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($275,000.00); and authorizing the County Judge to act as the County's Executive Officer and Authorized Representative in all matters pertaining to the County's participation in the Community Development Program. [Requested by Juan Vargas, Executive Director, Economic Development Department]

Background:

Grand funds are being sought from the Texas Department of Agriculture - Community Development Program for park improvements for rural areas located in the Quad City area.
