Discussion and possible action to authorize the purchase of computer equipment and peripherals to be utilized by various departments involved in the Judicial process in an amount not to exceed $50,000; and any other matters incident thereto. [Funding Source #757-8106-8404-JUDIC (Computer Equipment Judicial)]

Issue: On November 14, 2016, Commissioners Court Item #5A allocated funds for these expenditures and encumbrances for 2017; however, purchase orders from this fund cannot be issued without court approval.

Solution: Allow the Information Technology Department to purchase the necessary computer equipment and peripherals as required for each individual department.

Result: Equipment will be procured as deemed necessary for every department involved.
