Discussion and possible action to accept grant contract No. 58180002804 award for the Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program (CEAP) from the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) for the Program Year 2018. Contract start date- January 1, 2018 to end date- December 31, 2018, in the amount of ONE MILLION ONE HUNDRED FORTY FOUR THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED TWENTY FIVE ($1,144,925.00), and authorizing the County Judge to sign all relevant documents. [Requested by Community Action Agency; Account #2362-5150-330300]

Issue: Approve grant contract award for the CEAP Program from TDHCA for PY-2018 in the amount of $1,144,925.00.

Solution: The Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program (CEAP) provides direct client services to eligible elderly, disabled and low income residents of Webb County.

Result: The services are intended to assist eligible Webb County residents with up to 8 highest remaining calendar months of energy consumption. The CEAP allocation is for twelve months.
