Issue: In order to obtain a larger pool of applicants, the Webb County Sheriff's Office is requesting modifications to the job description as follows: (1) change years of experience to 1 year experience; (2) change education to high school or GED preferred; and (3) eliminate typing test requirements.

Solution: Seek authorization from the Webb County Commissioners Court to make these changes to the job description.

Result: The Webb County Sheriff's Office will be able to obtain a larger pool of applicants.
