Discussion and possible action to accept the rankings listed below and award RFP 2020-004 "Audio/Video Equipment for Webb County Commissioners Court to the highest ranking company, Audio Dynamics Inc., for the removal, installation and programming of audio/visual equipment at the Webb County Commissioners Court in an amount not to exceed $39,316.00; and further authorize the Webb County Judge to sign all relevant documents; and any other matters incident thereto. Issue: The current equipment in said court is outdated and/or faulty.

Solution: Award RFP to the highest ranking vendor so that installation of new equipment can be scheduled and get courtroom up to date.

Result: Upgrade to audio/visual equipment will provide improved sound and video recordings for the benefit of the Webb County residents, commissioners court and county staff.

Background:

Commissioners Court secured funding for the needed audio/visual upgrades through the 2019A Bond Series.

Previous Court Action:

Commissioners Court authorized the Purchasing Agent to Solicit Request for Proposals on April 23, 2019; item on. 12f.
