Discussion and possible action to enter an Order of the Webb County Commissioners Court authorizing the County Judge to nominate a County Judge Pro-Tempore and appointment by vote of the Commissioners Court, the County Judge Pro-Tempore shall be present at and responsible for conducting all meetings in the absence or unavailability of the County Judge, including the right to sign documents, contracts or legal notices and any matters incident thereto.

Background:

The County Judge Pro-Tempore is the mechanism used to conduct meetings and sign necessary and Commissioners Court documents when the County Judge is absent of unavailable.
