Discussion and possible action to ratify the purchase of televised football commercial advertisement from Grey Television Group, Inc./Grey Media Group, Inc., for ABC, NBC and CBS Sunday Night Football/NCAA games in Laredo by the Webb County District Attorney’s Office, for the “Make the Right Call” campaign. The campaign discourages drinking and driving in Webb County. The agreements consist of commercials to commence September, 2023 and through the end of the football season as follows: ABC Monday Night Football Package in the amount of Two Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($2,600.00), NBC Sunday Night Football advertisement package commercial ads at a total cost of Twelve Thousand Eight Hundred Dollars ($12,800.00), the CBS NFL Regular Season advertisement package at a total cost of Ten Thousand Three Hundred Dollars ($10,300.00), and CBS NFL Playoffs/Super Bowl Season advertisement package at a total cost of Seven Thousand Seven Hundred Twenty Five Dollars ($7,725.00). The Webb County District Attorney’s Office will be featured in the advertisement and authorizing the Webb County Judge to execute all relevant documents, and any other matters thereto.
