Discussion and possible action to approve contract extension and carry-over on Amendment #3 to Contract #61230003814 for the Community Service Block Grant Program (CSBG) from Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) for the program year 2023. Extending contract from December 31, 2023 to March 31, 2024 and a budget increase from Six Hundred Seven Thousand, Three Hundred Ninety ($607,390.00) to Six Hundred Thirteen Thousand, Four Hundred Eighty Three ($613,483.00). Authorizing the County Judge to sign all relevant documents. This Contract will not have an impact to the General Fund. [Grant Account #2368-5170-521]

Issue: Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) presented CAA Social Services with Six Thousand, Ninty Three Dollars ($6,093.00) more for our Community Service Block Grant Program (CSBG).

Solution: The Court approval will allow the Webb County Community Action Agency to provide direct services to eligible low-income residents of Webb County under the CSBG program.

Result: Approval of the amendment will ensure the continuation of services to qualifying low-income clients.
