Discussion and possible action to approve grant award contract #58940004188 for the Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program (CEAP) from the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) for FY-2024, in the amount of ONE HUNDRED EIGHT THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED NINETY ONE DOLLARS ($108,591.00) and authorizing the County Judge to sign all relevant documents. The contract shall commence on January 01, 2024 and shall end on December 31, 2024. This action will not have an impact to the General Fund.

Issue: The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) has awarded Webb County Community Action Agency the amount of $108,591.00 under the Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program (CEAP).

Solution: The Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program (CEAP) provides support services to eligible low-income residents of Webb County.

Result: The support services are intended to assist eligible Webb County residents with their energy needs.
