Discussion and possible action to authorize a professional service agreement with Lewis & Ellis, Inc., for the mandated Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) Statement 45 for the accounting and financial reporting for the Retiree Fund Program at a cost not to exceed TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS ($10,000.00) and requesting an exemption from Section 262.024 of the Local Government code (Competitive Proposal Requirements) and authorizing the County Judge to execute all relevant documents. Background:

New Government Accounting Standards Board (GASB 45) mandates government entities account for "Other Post-Employment Benefits" (OPEB). We have been doing business with this firm for the past (7) years.
