Discussion and possible action to enter into a Thirty-Six (36) month Lease Agreement between Toshiba Business Solutions and the Webb County for the Sheriff's Office for Five (5) Toshiba Digital Copiers E-Studio 5055-C at a cost of One Thousand Four Hundred Sixty-One Dollars and Thirty-Seven cents ($1,461.37) per month for a total amount of Fifty-Two Thousand Six Hundred Nine Dollars and Thirty-Two cents ($52,609.32) over the term of the agreement, pursuant to Texas Local Government Code, Sub-chapter F., Cooperative Purchasing Program; Sections 721.101 and 271.102, DIR-SDD Contract No.1686, subject to annual budget appropriation and authorizing the County Judge to sign and execute all relevant documents. [Requested by Martin Cuellar, Webb County Sheriff; Accounts #001-2001-6014, and #001-2060-6014]

Background:

The Sheriff's Office is requesting to renew five (5) existing contracts that have expired. Locations include Jail, Admin Office, Sub-Station and Crime Stoppers. Monthly unit cost $292.27 per machine.

Recommend approval of lease contract for 5 units.

Approval of prior Toshiba contracts. DIR contracts.
