Subject:

Discussion and possible action to approve Bethany House and Lulac Council #624 as Representative Organizations for Category "C" for the Webb County Community Action Agency Advisory Board; and any other matters incident thereto.

Issue: State mandates of filling vacancies when applicable terms end as per Texas Administrative Code, Chapter 5 Rule 5.215.

Solution: Vacancies will be filled.

Result: We will comply with the TDHCA -Texas Administrative Code, Chapter 5 Rule 5.215.

Background:

The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) State mandates filling of vacancies when applicable terms end a per Texas Administrative Code, Chapter 5 Rule 5.215. The Webb County Advisory Board met on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 and recommended approval of the appointments of Bethany House and Lulac Council #624 Organizations. The Nominating Committee met on Thursday, September 17, 2015 and recommended Bethany House and Lulac Council #624 Organizations.
