Discussion and possible action to approve a title change only to Slot #1292, Fund 010, Dept. 0102 (Planning) as follows:

From: Caseworker (Grade 12)
To: Administrative Assistant (Grade 12)

Issue: Although there is no change in the wage grade of the proposed title change since both position titles are equally classified under Grade 12, the existing title of the position does not reflect the either assigned duties or the certified job description. The Webb County Civil Service Commission approved the job description for this position on October 2, 2015 comparable to those descriptions approved for all other Administrative Assistant positions contingent upon the Court’s approval of the title change.

Solution/Result: Approve the title change as requested to obtain uniformity in the assigned duties and certified job description for the position.
