Discussion and possible action to authorize a transfer of the duties, responsibilities and oversight of the Veterans Transportation Services Program to the offices and staff of Commissioner Precinct 4; with further action to include the transfer of the transportation van utilized to provide the service and all other veteran documentation and information related to the program; and any other matters incident thereto.

Issue: Veterans Transportation Program was temporarily suspended due to budget constraints and unavailable grant funds.

Solution: Propose to utilize current department & staff to operate Veterans Transportation Program.

Result: Continue providing needed transportation services to our veterans.
