Discussion and possible action to approve the renewal agreement with ASC (Alternative Services Concepts) as the Third Party Administrator for the Workers Compensation Program, General Liability Claims for Webb County, effective October 1, 2016 - September 30, 2017 (Final year of three year agreement) with an annual premium not to exceed $46,312.56, and authorizing the County Judge to sign all relevant documents; and any other matters incident thereto. [Accounts #817-0105-6044 and #001-0114-6044]

Issue: Annual Renewal of Third Party Administrator for the General Liability and Workers Compensation Claims.

Solution: To approve the remaining year of a three year contract.

Result: Approval of contract will insure that all claims will be processed on a timely basis.

Background:

This is the last year of service from a three year contract with Alternative Services Program.

Previous Court Action:

Original Agreement was approved at the May 27, 2014 Commissioners Court meeting.
