Discussion and possible action to approve Change Order No.1 for Southern Trenchless Solutions, LLC in the amount not to exceed $150,000.00 as an addition to the original award amount of $675,790.00 approved by Commissioners Court on August 26, 2019 under the BuyBoard Contract #555-18, for pump replacement of Main Lift Station number 7, pursuant to Section 262.031 of the Texas Local Government Code, Changes in Plans and Specifications, and any other matters incident thereto. [2016 Bond, #7220-7270-001-474501 (Construction in Progress)]

Issue: Main Lift stations will be converted from a wet well to a dry well.

Solution: Duplex Pump Skids will be installed on top of Main Lift Station, will replace the exiting submersible pumps.

Result: Approve change order to finish face two Lift Station rehabilitation.

Background:

The Webb County Utilities wastewater collection system consists of six (6) stations within both communities that provide the continued routing of wastewater to the treatment plant for final treatment. This provides for the safe delivery of wastewater with limited backup to the streets. These stations have not been provided rehabilitation other than general repair since installation of the stations.
