Subject:

Presentation by the top three (3) highest ranking architectural firms with discussion and possible action to award Request for Qualifications (RFQ) No. 2020-012 “Architectural Services for the Webb County Fairgrounds & Agricultural Exposition Center” and to further authorize the Civil Legal Department to negotiate the terms and conditions of the professional services agreement and any other matters incident thereto. [3900-7230-001-474501 (Fairgrounds Project Series 2019A-Construction in Progress Administration)]

Issue: On September 28, 2020, Commissioners Court approved the scheduling of interviews for the top three (3) highest ranking firms.

Solution: Conduct interviews and select the most qualified firm on the basis of demonstrated competence and qualifications.

Result: Authorize legal staff to negotiate the terms and conditions of the professional services contract and return to Court to approve the final terms and associated fees of agreement.

The top three (3) highest ranking firms are as follows:

Redline Architecture in association with K/O Fairground Planners & Designers
Able City, LLC. in association with Hahnfeld, Hoffer, and Stanford

Previous Court Action:
