Discussion and possible action to approve an agreement between Webb County and Badger Meter, Inc., d/b/a National Meter & Automation in the amount of $21,672.00, to purchase 25,200 automated cellular registers, as needed for the Automated Meter Infrastructure (AMI), used by the Webb County Utilities Department. Cellular register technology systems provide automatic and accurate household water consumption data meter readings, a customer feedback portal, monitors real-time water consumption, leak site information, and security technology to identify and eliminate water theft, meter tampering, and/or prohibited access of meters; and authorizing the Webb County Judge to execute any and all relevant documents and any other matters incident thereto.
