Discussion and possible action to accept the rankings and award Request for Qualifications RFQ 2022-012 “On-Call Land Surveying Services for County Projects” to the top three (3) highest-ranking proposers on a rotational and as needed basis for various County projects for a three (3) year performance period in accordance with Texas Government Code – Professional Services Procurement Act and to further authorize General Counsel to negotiate the terms and conditions of the professional service agreement and any other matters incident thereto.

Issue: Webb County will require these professional services for various county projects to include projects funded by local, state and federal funds. Selected firms during the term of the performance period may be required to sign and agree to terms and conditions on a project to project basis. Each project requiring land surveying services will require a separate fully executed service agreement prior to any work authorized for payment. These professional services will be on a rotational basis and on an as needed basis.

Solution: Consideration to award to the three (3) highest-ranking firms based on qualifications in accordance with the Professional Services Procurement Act.

Result: If awarded to recommended firms, professional service agreements will be brought back to Commissioner Court on a project to project basis when services are required during the performance period.
