Nuestra Salud medical services agreement for County employee clinic

Discussion and possible action to enter into a medical services agreement with Nuestra Salud Health Clinic, P.C. for a one year period (with an option for two additional one year terms) commencing October 1, 2022 for services to be provided for the County's employee clinic at a cost of One Hundred Twenty-Five Dollars ($125.00) per clinic hour and reimbursement for any supplies provided by Nuestra Salud and any matters incident thereto; authorizing the County Judge to sign all relevant documents. Issue: To continue the employee clinic program delivering basic medical services to employees and their dependents with no co-pay nor claims filed on our insurance plan.

Solution: To enter into an agreement with the current provider to continue the delivery of services to employees and their dependents with no out-of-pocket cost to the employee.

Result: The integration of medical services with a wellness program to promote employee engagement in maintaining good health.

Background:

The program has been successful and well received and utilized by County employees and their eligible dependents.
