Discussion and possible action to reclassify and modify Slot #2999 of Webb County Court-at-Law II DWI Court Program Assistant Case Manager to Webb County Court-at-Law II Juvenile Drug Treatment Court Program Case Manager. The reclassification is from SAMHSA Grant 1H79TI081049-01 (TI-18-008) to DOJ OJJDP Grant (Award number 15PJDP-23-GG-00869-DGCT) effective October 1, 2023.

Issue: The DOJ awarded grant allows for Webb County Court-at-Law II to establish a Juvenile Drug Treatment Court. The Court previously approved the filling of Case Manager slot.

Solution: The court approved the reclassification and modification of the slot to transfer employee from SAMHSA DWI Court grant to DOJ Juvenile Drug Treatment Court Grant.

Result: Fill the Juvenile Drug Treatment Court Program Case Manager role to effectively begin provided services.

The Court previously approved the creation and filling of Webb County Court-at-Law II Juvenile Drug Treatment Court Program Case Manager position.
