Discussion with possible action to set the dates for public hearings on the proposed increase in water and wastewater rates for the Webb County Water Utility Department on December 1^st and 5^th, 2014 at El Cenizo and Rio Bravo respectively.

Previous Court Action:

November 10, 2014 Commissioner Court approved new water and wastewater rates as recommended by Consultant in the Rate Study providing for compliance with settlement agreement established by customers of the Webb County Rio Bravo Water Treatment Plant; with additional action to request a public hearing, if necessary, to provide Notice of the proposed increases. Proposed action will provide for funding of Ten (10) year Capital Improvement Plan along with the phased elimination of the General Fund Subsidy; and, providing for funding of a Ten (10) year operation forecast cost; and any other matters incident thereto.
