Discussion and possible action to authorize the Purchasing Agent to procure services from Kruger Inc., in the amount of $16,441.34 to get the Water Treatment Hydro-Cyclone System back to Automation and working properly. [Sec. 262.024. DISCRETIONARY EXEMPTIONS. (a) A contract for the purchase of any of the following item is exempt from the requirement established by Section 262.023 if the commissioners court by order grants the exemption: (11) vehicle and equipment repairs]

Background:

The purpose is to replace the existing Hydro-cyclones Systems that need a Field Service Tech to perform the maintenance and/or replace any parts that are not working properly and need to be updated. This system is used in the disinfection process system at the Rio Bravo Water Treatment Plant and is needed to get back online as required by TCEQ.
