Discussion and possible action to approve an agreement with NALCO for the annual supply of chiller system cooling tower fuels to include cooling tower inhibitor, biocide and algaecide for a total annual cost of $8,491.50 (monthly billing of $707.63) under TxMAS contract #12-73040. Pursuant to Sections 271.101 and 271.102, Subchapter F, Cooperative Purchasing Program,Texas Local Government Code. [Account #001-0106-6205]

Issue: Chiller system provides air conditioning to Webb County Building including the Justice Center, Administration Building and County Courthouse. Fuel must be purchased for regular maintenance of cooling towers.

Solution: Enter into an agreement with NALCO for annual supply of fuels needed for regular maintenance of equipment.

Result: Proper maintenance of functioning equipment that provides air conditioning to major County buildings.
