Discussion and possible action to approve the renewal of Consulting Services Agreement between Webb County and Johnson & Johnson, Attorneys at Law for consulting and professional services concerning legislative matters for a Two (2) year term effective October 1, 2016 through September 30, 2018. In consideration for the services provided, Webb County will pay consultant a monthly sum of $7,000 per month for services the 15th day of October 2016 through the 14th day of October 2017 (legislative year) and $3,500 per month for services the 15th day of October 2017 through the 14th day of October 2018 (non-legislative year). Additional action to authorize a Professional Service Exemption as per Section 262.024(A)(4) Local Government Code and authorizing the County Judge to execute all relevant documents; and any matters incident thereto.
