Discussion and possible action to authorize the Economic Development Department to submit a Budget Revision Request to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) for the Webb County – Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) Grant Program #582-17-71563 and authorize the County Judge to sign all relevant documentation. This
action will have no impact on the county general fund.

Issue:
The approved purchase list under the LEPC Grant Program differs from the actual quotes received by the county. Any purchases made that differ from the approved purchase list must be approved by TCEQ Grant Manager prior to purchase.
Solution:
This Budget Revision Request is necessary to proceed with the purchase of the necessary goods and services under the LEPC Grant Program.
Result:
The approval of this Budget Revision Request will enable the county to purchase the necessary goods and services that will allow the County LEPC to establish, maintain, and/or improve their implementation of Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA).
Background:
The County of Webb received $92,662.80 from TCEQ to purchase goods and services that will allow the LEPC to establish, maintain, and/or improve their implementation of Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA).
