Discussion on current Texas law regarding animal control (stray dogs) in rural county areas, with possible action to direct county staff to propose and implement potential solutions to reduce or control incidents with these stray animals; and any other matters incident thereto.
Issue:
Los Botines and surrounding Precinct 4 rural areas are experiencing issues with stray dogs in the rural areas that affecting the livelihood of livestock and are posing a danger to the rural communities.
Solution:
Clarify any and all county responsibilities in the rural areas regarding these matters in an effort to resolve the ongoing problems and incidents with stray animals in the rural areas.
