Approval for the utilization of Operational Reserve funds

Discussion and possible action to approve the utilization of Operational Reserve Fund in the amount of $30,000.00 (THIRTY THOUSAND) of which $27,776.00 will go to ASAP Systems, and $1,799.95 (ONE THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED NINETY-NINE AND NINETY-FIVE CENTS) will go to AT&T for the purchase of a 5-year software license and five (5) 6th Generation Ipads, along with extra monies should an additional Ipad be needed, for the Planning Department to begin the taxing of coin-operated machines. [Requested by Planning Department; Account #1001-1130-001-431007-010 (Operational Reserve)]

Issue: The Planning Department is in need of the software and Ipads to keep up with the inventory for gaming and vending machines to assist in issuing licenses and permits.

Solution: Approve the utilization of Operational Reserve funds for the purchase of the software license and Ipads.

Result: The Planning Department will have an accurate account of all gaming and vending machines that will increase revenue for the county.
