Discussion and possible action to authorize the County Judge to sign the 2019 Renewal Notice and Benefit Confirmation with the Texas Association of Counties for the County Silver Choice Program for County Retirees 65 and over and their dependants; and any other matters incident thereto.

Background:

The County Choice Silver Program is for County retirees 65 and older and their eligible dependants, other than the administration of the program by the Risk Management Department (consisting primarily of collecting the premiums and forwarding the funds to TAC) there is no cost to the County. There are 8 enrollees in the program.

Previous Court Action:

The Silver Choice Program has been offered to County retirees and their eligible dependants for better than 10 years.
