Discussion and possible action to award RFP 2019-001 "Building Lease for Webb County Economic Development" to the highest ranking proposer F.D. Laurel Properties, LLC. for approximately 2,729 square feet located at 1308 San Agustin Avenue for $1.00 per square foot monthly for year one (1) with an additional three (3) one (1) year options to extend and authorizing the County Judge to sign all relevant documents and any other matters incident thereto. [Requested by James Flores, Economic Development Director; Account #1001-1130-001-444100 (Space Rental General Operating Fund)]

Issue: Current building lease term has expired.  Effective 10/31/2018.

Solution: Proposals were secured by the Purchasing Agent at the direction of the Commissioners Court.  2 Formal proposals were submitted in response to a public RFP request.

Results: Approve the highest ranking proposal as recommended by County Staff assigned to the evaluation committee.
