Discussion and possible action to approve clarifications to the Purchasing Code of Ethics Policy regarding Vendor communication with Procurement Professionals and Elected Officials during an active solicitation period and Re-Adopting the policy effective as of the date approved and any other matters incident thereto.

Background:

Ambiquities in the Purchasing Code of Ethics Policy have necessitated minor changes to the policy to clarify the procedure to be used when a Vendor needs to communicate with the County.

Previous Court Action:

The Purchasing Code of Ethics was approved on April 19, 2018 by the Webb County Purchasing Board.
