Discussion and possible action to ratify the approval of the execution of an Elevator Modernization contract for elevator unit three (3) located at the Justice Center Building between Webb County and Schindler Elevator Corporation(Sourcewell/NJPA Contract #100516-SCH)for an amount not to exceed $138,376.00 in accordance with the Texas Local Government Code; Sub-Chapter F. Cooperative Purchasing Program; Section 271.101 and Section 271.102 and authorizing the Webb County Judge to execute any and all relevant documents; and any other matters incident thereto. [2019A Bond Series; Account #3868-7230-001-443000-255 Repairs and Maintenance to Building]

Issue: Webb County Commissioners Court authorized the selection of Schindler Elevator Corporation to modernize all County elevators. The current priority for modernization includes units 3 located on the northern end of the Justice Center next to the security check point.

Solution: Approve the execution of the contract to authorize Schindler Elevator to order parts and schedule the modernization of this elevator.

Result: Modernizing the elevator will improve the operation and reliability of the unit. Reduce maintenance costs, downtime and improve customer satisfaction on ride quality.
