Discussion and possible action to approve, by Order, a budget amendment to the Sheriff's Office Forfeiture Funds by increasing the expenditure budget by $21,230; said amount is available from seized funds pursuant to U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) equitable sharing agreement; and any other matters incident thereto. Issue: This transfer out was originally approved on 4/25/2022 for a grant awarded in Spring 2022. However, due to the ongoing global logistical supply chain issues, the grant-funded Body Worn Cameras (BWCs) have been encumbered since Spring 2022, but are not due to be delivered until December 2022. Thus, an agenda item was needed to be placed for the new fiscal year in anticipation of receipt of the grant-funded equipment.

Solution: Place an agenda item for the new fiscal year.

Result: The required cash match will be available during the current fiscal year.
