Discussion and possible action to approve the execution of an upgraded Field System Software Maintenance, Warranty and Oracle sublicense Support agreement between Webb County and VOTEC Corporation (VOTEC Election Management and Compliance Systems) in the amount of Forty Nine Thousand Three Hundred Thirty-Eight Dollars and Fifty-Five Cents ($49,338.55) with the Oracle sub-license, plus the sum of Twelve Thousand Two Hundred Forty Dollars ($12,240.00) for the Field System Software Support for a combined total of Sixty One Thousand Five Hundred Seventy Eight Dollars and Fifty-Five Cents ($61,578.55). The payment is for the October 1, 2022 thru September 30, 2023 fiscal year support coverage period, and to approve by order a discretionary exemption in accordance with the Texas Local Government Code, Section 262.024 (Discretionary Exemptions)(a.)(7) an item that can be obtained from only one source and to further authorize the County Judge to execute all relevant documents and any other matters incident thereto.
