Discussion and possible action to award bid 2014-5 "Reconstruction of Homes Webb County Self-Help Center" to the lowest and best qualified bidder for the Self-Help Center Program, (Contract #712003) and authorize the County Judge to sign all relevant documents. This activity is grant funded and will have zero impact to the County's General Fund.

Background:

This activity is required under the terms of the Self-Help Center Grant Contract. Two existing mobile homes will be replaced with two new mobile homes. Existing mobile homes will be demolished and properly disposed of by the awarded contractor. Mobile homes will be installed in accordance with Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs Manufactured Homes Division's requirements.

Previous Court Action:

Commissioner's Court previously authorized the solicitation of bids for both of these addresses.
