Discussion and possible action to authorize the development and submission of a Texas Community Development Block Grant application to the Texas Department of Agriculture for the Community Developmnent (CD) Program in an amount not to exceed Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($300,000.00) for water system improvements for rural areas located along US Highway 59; and authorizing the County Judge to act as the County's Executive Officer and Authorized Representative in all matters pertaining to the County's participation in the Community Development Program.

Background:

Grant funds are being sought from the Texas Department of Agriculture - Community Development Program for water system improvements for rural areas located along US Highway 59.
