Discussion and possible action requesting title change and declassification of Slot #1901-Water Plant Supervisor to Slot #1901-Plant Operator I; and any other matters incident thereto. Proposal for Civil Service consideration. [Account #801-3002-5001]

Background:

Promotion of prior employee in Slot #1901 into a higher Supervisory level has left this slot vacant. It is our recommendation that we employ additional operational staff to meet shift requirements in order to meet to State staffing guidelines.

PAY RATE:
Currently rates are at $19.40 per hour for the Water Plant Supervisor and we are requesting the reclassification of this Slot to $16.73 per hour for Operator II.

REQUEST FOR ACTION:
Change Slot #1901 from current position of Water Plant Supervisor to Slot #1901 Plant Operator II.
